Extension Policy
Any student anticipating a late submission should consult their lecturer or
tutor before the submission date. An extension of time for submission
of written work may be sought from the lecturer/tutor in the event of unforeseen
circumstances preventing timely submission of work. Extensions are normally
granted on the basis of a medical certificate or a letter from the University
Counselling Centre.
A request for an extension due to a computer crash, technical glitch, or other fault involving computers will not be accepted! These issues can be prevented or minimised by backing up your work at one or more locations - udb drive, pebble (student documents folder on info commons computers), or even email it to yourself.
Written work submitted after its designated submission date, without an extension,
will be penalised 10% per working day late.
