Public Participation in Managing the Environment
Involving the public in managing the environment can be a difficult process to facilitate, especially between local people and the government. This week's panelists will share some of their experiences of processes where there has been public participation in managing the environment, and unpack the complex social interrelations between communities which make public involvement both a challenging and a necessary exercise.
